i have always wondered why the sub-theme of death was associated with introverted intuition.
geekiness is also one of those things.
..which does not resonate with me so to speak.

it had the feel of somebody imposing a limitation of feeling, ..or saying this is how the ILI or IEI feels _goofy,geeky,with an overhanging sense of death.

but i realized the flip side of this is that it is process related.
the i_Is embrace 'geekiness' as a necassary function, if and when they have to hid.
also the death imagery is an extention of there intellectual process as it is not naturally flowed to by any of the other functions.

Yet, geekiness is not a first function imparitive, many young i_Is might be mislead to that belief
(and these are necassary as i_Is govern themselves more with beleif than with fixed view or cognitive mindsets ... a flexibility which many Church doctrines don't embrace,,,which is why i worry for some of my i_I brethren in those communities, -rebellion is better yet undesirable)

i believe though,
that the subtheme of death, or death as a metaphor is changed for individuals with even a mild upbring amongst a christian doctrinated environment say..
for them, the space there mind occupies is to make those things which they grew up in as a form of a legend..
and thus they predict values and themes which may be more intriquit.
i remember wishing that there where more formal religion systems when i was young, only to be grateful later that i was not encapsulated in its social values
(Nietzsche describes these processes of growth..you may note to that his background was semi-religious)..
yet this legend which lives in a person so to speak..
grants the value of fire, and indeed an introverted type needs it, for they may feel the whole world is ahead of them,
and so they need to war.
(so that is my limitation of geekiness and death, yet slight geekiness i hold as a value to escape the binding of other people, but not absolutely _ when pursuing heterosexual relationships _ some emphasis needs to be made on the introverted predicting functions, and how and when these are stronger)

note in the West,
power psychology is prominent
the Doctor Phils
dating 'gurus' like D Angelo.

it is cool to make some things more applicable to yourself using socionics which is not a power psychology, but a specific intellectual psychology.

but the old Western scene is becoming wholey ridicules, ... like all the latest Ophrah tag-alongs, who emphasize steps in 'power-psychology' like family relations and how they may make a child insecure...

but i am coming to think that there is less and less place for these traditional psychology taglines as the individual more often than not flips into a gearing mood where they exercise the individual they are
(but even this is a dangerous and precarious path for which it is better that most people do not know the dangers of falling short of there type)

tell me what u thing
-fred

also, what do u think the maturity state of a person has to be, before they can exercise 'intellectual psychology' imparitives connected to socionics.

I really couldn't imagine a better way to spend an idle, rainy day than in drawing up a nice, lengthy list of words associated with Introverted Logic.
